- Application Notes
- This antibody conjugate has been tested by ELISA (1:1000 dilution). It is reactive in ELISA with rat IgGs, IgM, and IgA, a weaker signal may be detected on the rat IgG2b and IgM isotypes. It has some cross-reactivity with mouse IgG and no cross-reactivity with human Igs. For immunohistochemical staining (IHC) of acetone-fixed frozen and paraffin-embedded sections, we recommend the use of biotinylated goat anti-rat Ig in our special formulation for immunohistochemistry. However, when using rat IgG2b primary antibodies, we suggest using biotinylated mouse anti-rat IgG2b mAb G15-337 as second step in IHC. When using rat IgM primary antibodies in IHC, we recommend biotinylated anti-rat and -hamster Ig kappa light chain mAb RG7/7.6 or biotinylated anti-rat IgM mAb G53-238 as second step.

- Precaution of Use
- This product contains ProClin: POISONOUS AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES which should be handled by trained staff only.
- Handling Advice
- Use of Sodium Azide will inhibit enzyme activity of horseradish peroxidase.
- Storage
- -20 °C
- Storage Comment
- Store undiluted at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze-thaws of product. The antibody was conjugated with HRP under optimum conditions, and unconjugated antibody and free HRP were removed. The antibody solution was purified from goat antiserum and was passed through solid-phase immunoadsorbent gels to minimize cross-reactivity with mouse, human, cow, and horse serum proteins (multiple adsorption).
