Additional Information
| Alternative name | CD284 / TLR4 |
| Gene ID | 7099 |
| UniProt | O00206 |
| Immunogen | Ba/F3 cell line expressing TLR4 (CD284). Spleen cells from immunised Balb/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse SP2/0myeloma cell line. |
| Cross-Reactivity | Dog (Canine), Guinea Pig, Human, Monkey, Pig (Porcine) |
| Isotype | IgG2a |
| Clone | HTA125 |
| Description | TLR4, also known as CD284, has been demonstrated to act as a receptor for LPS on humanmonocytes and macrophages. TLR4 signalling of LPS stimulation requires the presence ofthe MD-2 molecule. TLR4 is weakly expressed by resting cells, but is upregulated followingstimulation with LPS. |
| Characteristics | Synonyms: Toll-like receptor 4 |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Flow Cytometry: Use 10 l of neat antibody to label 10e6 cells or 100 l whole blood. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. |
| Concentration | 0.1 mg/ml |
| Buffer | PBS containing 0.09% Sodium Azide as preservative and 1% BSA asstabilizer.Label: Fluorescein Isothiocyanate Isomer 1 (FITC). |
| Storage | Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. This product is photosensitive and should be protected from light. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch. |
