Immunogen Ba/F3 cell line expressing TLR4 (CD284). Spleen cells from immunised Balb/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse SP2/0 myeloma cell line.
Clone HTA125
Isotype IgG2a
Specificity This antibody recognises the Toll like receptor 4 (TLR4) cell surface antigen. This antibody has been demonstrated to block activation of monocytes with LPS.
Purification Affinity chromatography on Protein G
Endotoxin Level Low Endotoxin
Alternative Name CD284 / TLR4
Background TLR4, also known as CD284, has been demonstrated to act as a receptor for LPS on human monocytes and macrophages. TLR4 signalling of LPS stimulation requires the presence of the MD-2 molecule. TLR4 is weakly expressed by resting cells, but is upregulated following stimulation with LPS.
Alternate names: Toll-like receptor 4
NCBI Accession NM_138554.3
UniProt O00206
Research Area Signaling, Immunology, Inflammation
Application Notes Flow Cytometry: 1/10 - 1/50, Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood. Immunoprecipitation. Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. Further Comments: Endotoxin Level: less than 0.01 EU/ug
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Liquid
Concentration 1.0 mg/mL
Buffer PBS
Handling Advice Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Storage -20 °C
