Application
Clone

-
Specificity
- SM2262P recognises the CD62P cell surface antigen, a 140 kDa glycoprotein also known as P-selectin. Clone Psel.KO.2.12 is reported to inhibit P-Selectin-dependent adhesion between HL60 cells and P-Selectin transfected COS cells (1). We recommend the use of SM2262LE for this purpose.
-
Purification
- Affinity Chromatography on Protein G
-
Immunogen
- CD62P transfected 300.19 cells. Remarks: Spleen cells from immunised CD62P knock-out mice (Strain C57/B6) were fused with cells of the NS-1 myeloma cell line.
-
Isotype
- IgG1

Background
- CD62P is expressed by activated platelets and endothelial cells, and plays an important role in adhesive processes between leucocytes and endothelial cells.Synonyms: CD62 antigen-like family member P, GMP-140, GMRP, GRMP, Granule membrane protein 140, LECAM3, Leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion molecule 3, PADGEM, SELP
