Application Notes
-
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity ofhEotaxin-3 (100 ng/mL), a concentration of 5.0 - 7.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. ELISA: Indirect: To detect hEotaxin-3 by indirect ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution)a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. In conjunction withcompatible secondary reagents, it allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well ofrecombinant hEotaxin-3. Sandwich: To detect hEotaxin-3 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/mL is required. In conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-HumanEotaxin-3 as a detection antibody, it allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well ofrecombinant hEotaxin-3. Western Blot: To detect hEotaxin-3 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at aconcentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagentsthe detection limit for recombinant hEotaxin-3 is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing ornon-reducing conditions.

Background
- Eotaxin 3 is a recently discovered CC chemokine. It binds to the CCR3 receptor and is highly chemotactic for eosinophils and basophils.Synonyms: C-C motif chemokine 26, CC chemokine IMAC, IMAC, MIP4 alpha, Macrophage inflammatory protein 4-alpha, SCYA26, Small-inducible cytokine A26, TSC-1, TSC1, Thymic stroma chemokine-1
