Gene ID HNF4A
Immunogen The immunogen for anti-HNF4A antibody: synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal of human HNF4A
Sequence MRLSKTLVDMDMADYSAALDPAYTTLEFENVQVLTMGNDT SPSEGTNLNA
Cross-Reactivity Cow (Bovine), Dog (Canine), Chicken, Human, Mouse (Murine), Pig (Porcine), Rat (Rattus)
Format Lyophilized
Reconstitution Add 50 µl of distilled water. Final anti-HNF4A antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml.
Description The protein encoded by HNF4A is a nuclear transcription factor which binds DNA as a homodimer. The encoded protein controls the expression of several genes, including hepatocyte nuclear factor 1 alpha, a transcription factor which regulates the expression of several hepatic genes. This gene may play a role in development of the liver, kidney, and intestines. Mutations in this gene have been associated with monogenic autosomal dominant non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus type I.
Characteristics Antigen Size: 474 amino acids
Molecular Weight 53kDa
