Immunogen Peptide with sequence C-YFEKKWTDTFKVS, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_038478.2.
Cross-Reactivity Mouse (Murine), Rat (Rattus), Cow (Bovine)
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Alternative Name BAZ2B
Background Synonyms: BAZ2B, bromodomain adjacent to zinc finger domain, 2B, DKFZP434H071, DKFZp762I0516, FLJ45644, WALp4
Gene ID 29994
NCBI Accession NP_038478
Research Area Chromatin and Nuclear Signaling, Transcription Factors
Application Notes ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:4000.
Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 35 kDa band in Testis and Brain lysates after 0.3 µg/mL antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 221 kDa according to NP_038478. The 35 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
IHC: In paraffin embedded Human Small Intestine shows primarily nuclear staining in a number of cells of the lamina propria. Recommended concentration: 1-2 µg/mL.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Liquid
Buffer Supplied at 0.5 mg/mL in Tris saline, 0.02 % sodium azide, pH 7.3 with 0.5 % bovine serum albumin.
