Specificity Human

Application Details

Application Notes Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:8,000. Western Blot: Approx 48kDa band observed in lysates of human kidney fibroblast cell line HEK293 (calculated MW of 48.5kDa according to NP_002649.1). Recommended concentration: 0.3-1.0µg/ml. A minor band was also consistently observed at appox 35kDa. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunising peptide, and is consistent with the B chain of Cathepsin B-mediated cleavage product of PLAU (Kobayashi et al, J Biol Chem. 1991 Mar 15,266(8):5147-52, PMID: 1900515).
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Buffer 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Storage Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.
Restrictions For Research Use only
