- Precaution of Use
- WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.

- Background
-
WD40 repeats are a common structural module in eukaryotic proteins, and proteins containing WD40 domains have a wide range of functions, including signal transduction, cell cycle regulation, RNA splicing, and transcription. One such protein, WDR92, also known as monad, contains two WD40 repeats is widely expressed in human tissues, especially testis.Overexpression of this protein or its binding partner RNA polymerase II-associated protein 3 (RPAP3) potentiated apoptosis and caspase-3 activation induced by TNF-alpha and cycloheximide, suggesting that WDR92, together with RPAP3, may function as a novel modulator of apoptosis.
