Background
- P65 is a subunit of the nuclear factor kappa B. The transcription factor NFkB is widely recognized as a critical mediator of immune and inflammatory responses. In most cell types, NFkB is found in the cytoplasm where it is associated with an inhibitory prd in many tissues. A high proportion of spontaneous NIH/3T3 transformants overexpress c-Met and by transfection analysis the c-Met proto-oncogene has been shown to exhibittransforming activity.Synonyms: NF kappa B p65, NFKB3, NFkB p65, Nuclear factor NF-kappa-B p65 subunit, Nuclear factor of kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer in B-cells 3, Rel A, Transcription factor p65
