    Specificity

This antibody detects Trace Amine Associated Receptor 1 (TAAR1/TA1).

    Purification

    Immunoaffinity Chromatography

    Immunogen

TAAR1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from 3rd cytoplasmic domain of human TAAR1.
  • Application Notes

Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections (28 μg/mL). Antigen retrieval: Steam slides in 0.01 M sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, at 99-100C for 20 min. Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature in buffer for 20 min. Rinse in 1xTBS with Tween (TBST) for 1 min. at room temperature.
    Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

    TAAR1 (Trace Amine Associated Receptor 1 (TAAR1))

    Alternative Name

    TAAR1

    Background

TAAR1/TA1 is a Trace Amine Receptor activated by tyramine and beta-PEA. TAAR1/TA1 is likely to be involved in regulation of blood pressure, electrolyte homeostasis, and in controlling mood. An allelic variant of TAAR1/TA1 has been identified.Synonyms: TA1, TAR1, TRAR1, TaR-1, Trace amine receptor 1, Trace amine-associated receptor 1
