Application Details

Application Notes: Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin Sections: 5-10 μg/mL. This antibody was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigenretrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides wereincubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkalinephosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Background: The IL8RB is a Chemokine Receptor also known as type 1 interleukin-8 receptor. There are three interleukin-8 receptors on chromosome 2: IL8RA (type 2), IL8RB (type 1), and a pseudogene. Results from mouse knock-out studies suggest that IL8RB may inhibit the expansion and development of neutrophils and B cells (Cacalano et al., 1994).
