ELISA: 1/20000-1/40000. Western Blot: 1/500-1/1000. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Complex that is thought to mediate chromatin assembly in DNA replication and DNA repair. Assembles histone octamers onto replicating DNA in vitro. CAF-1 performs the first step of the nucleosome assembly process, bringing newly synthesized histones H3 and H4 to replicating DNA, histones H2A/H2B can bind to this chromatin precursor subsequent to DNA replication to complete the histone octamer.Chromatin assembly factor 1 (CAF-1) is a member of the histone chaperone family. It is required for inheritance of epigenetically determined chromosomal states, and in vitro, it promotes the assembly of chromatin during DNA replication and DNA repair. CAF-1 is a complex of three subunits, p150, p60, and p48. This complex is localized to the nucleus of human cells.Synonyms: CAF1A, CAF1P60, CHAF1B, Chromatin assembly factor 1 subunit B, Chromatin assembly factor I p60 subunit, M-phase phosphoprotein 7, MPHOSPH7, MPP7
