Additional Information

Immunogen ascorbate oxidase purified from Cucurbita sp.
Format Lyophilized
Description Ascorbate oxidase (AO) is an apoplastic enzyme involved in metabolism of plantascorbate (AA). Ascorbate (AA) plays a key role in defense against oxidativestress and is particularly abundant in photosynthetic tissues. Over 90% of theascorbate is localized in the cytoplasm, but a substantial proportion is exported tothe apoplast.
Specificity Predicted reactivity: dicots including Glycine max, monocots including Oryza sativa.

Application Details

Application Notes Recommended Dilution 1: 1000 (WB), 1: 1000 - 1: 30 000 (ELISA).
Purification IgG protein fraction is prepared by ammonium sulphate precipitation and ionexchanged chromatography. N-Hydroxysuccinimidobiotin is used for labelling ofantibody.
Buffer total IgG in PBS pH 7.2
Storage store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C, once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior toopening them to avoid any losses that might occur from lyophilized materialadhering to the cap or sides of the tubes. Working dilutions should be stored at4°C, not refrozen and prefarably used the same day. If slight precipitation occursupon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation. It will not affect theperformance of the
