Immunogen A synthetic peptide from aa region 140-200 of human NT3 conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen. The peptide is homologous in many other species including rat and mouse.
Isotype IgG
Specificity Specific for mature NT-3.
Background Function: Seems to promotes the survival of visceral and proprioceptive sensory neurons.
Tissue specificity: Brain and peripheral tissues.
Subcellular location: Secreted. Also known as: Neurotrophin-3, HDNF, Nerve growth factor 2, NGF-2, NTF3.
Application Notes A concentration of 10-50 µg/ml is recommended.
The optimal concentration should be determined by the end user.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Lyophilized
Reconstitution Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Handling Advice Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
