Immunogen Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pTyr493 (S-Y-Y (p) -T-A) derived from Human Zap-70. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.
Isotype IgG
Specificity The antibody detects endogenous level of Zap-70 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 493.
Purification The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

Background Plays a role in T-cell development and lymphocyte activation. Essential for TCR-mediated IL-2 production. Isoform 1 induces TCR-mediated signal transduction, isoform 2 does not.
