Clone GRM1
Isotype IgG2a
Characteristics Synonyms: CD16a, CD16b, FCG3, FCGR3, IGFR3, FCGR3B, Fc-gamma RIII, FcRIII, Low affinityimmunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III
Alternative Name CD16
Background CD16 (FcgammaRIII) serves as a low affinity IgG receptor. Human CD16 is expressed in twoforms CD16a and CD16b. CD16a is a transmembrane protein of monocytes, macrophages,NK cells and a subset of T cells. CD16b is a GPI-linked monomeric receptor expressed onneutrophils and is involved in their activation and induction of a proadhesive phenotype. CD16 is involved in NK activation and signal transduction. (Ref. 1-5)
Research Area Stem Cells, Hematopoietic Progenitors, Hematopoietic Stem Cells, CD Antigens, Surface Receptors of Immune Cells
Application Notes Flow Cytometry: 10 µL/10e6 cells. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
