Immunogen eptide with sequence C-SSPSQMMPHVQTHF, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence Genename: MTM1
Specificity This antibody detects MTM1 at C-term.
Cross-Reactivity (Details) Species reactivity (expected):Mouse, Canine (Dog), Bovine.
Species reactivity (tested):Human.
Purification Affinity chromatography
Alternative Name Myotubularin / MTM1 (MTM1 Antibody Abstract)
Background Dual-specificity phosphatase that acts on both phosphotyrosine and phosphoserine. Could be involved in a signal transduction pathway necessary for late myogenesis, although its ubiquitous expression suggests a wider function.
Gene ID 4534
NCBI Accession NP_000243
UniProt Q13496
Pathways
Application Notes Peptide ELISA: 1/16000. Western blot: 0.3 - 1 μg/mL. Approx 70 kDa band observed in lysates of Human SkeletalMuscle and of cell line HepG2 (calculated MW of 69.0 kDa according to NP_000243.1).
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Concentration 0.5 mg/mL
Buffer Tris saline, pH ~7.3, 0.02 % Sodium Azide, 0.5 % BSA
