The Mouse Monoclonal anti-CD42b antibody (Clone MM2-174) (ABIN376398) specifically detects CD42b in WB, FACS, IP, ICC, IHC (fro) and IHC (p).
The antibody is reactive with Human samples.
Low Endotoxin/Azide Free Anti-Human CD42b antibody for use in flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry / immunocytochemistry, western blotting, and immunoprecipitation assays.
CD42b, also known as gpIb, is a two-chain membrane glycoprotein that forms a noncovalent complex with gpIX (CD42a) on the surface of platelets and megakaryocytes. Binding of the gpIb/gpIX heterodimer to von Willebrand factor bound to exposed subendothelial surfaces is essential for platelet adhesion at sites of injury.
