|Immunogen||This monoclonal antibody is generated from mice immunized with three KLH conjugated synthetic peptides corresponding to N-terminal, central, and C-terminal sequences of human VEGF4.|
|Description||Other names: Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor D, c-fos-induced growth factor, FIGF, VEGFD, VEGF-D, VEGF4|
|Characteristics||Purified Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (Mab)|
|Specificity||This monoclonal antibody is generated from mice immunized with three KLH conjugated synthetic peptides corresponding to N-terminal, central, and C-terminal sequences of human VEGF4.|
|Molecular Weight||40444 DA|
Background: The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the platelet-derived growth factor/vascular endothelial growth factor (PDGF/VEGF) family and is active in angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis, and endothelial cell growth. This secreted protein undergoes a complex proteolytic maturation, generating multiple processed forms which bind and activate VEGFR-2 and VEGFR-3 receptors. This protein is structurally and functionally similar to vascular endothelial growth factor C.
|Application Notes||ELISA~~1:1,000 Western blotting~~1:100~500|
|Buffer||Purified monoclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 deg C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 deg C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles|
|Research Area||Cell Signaling, Cell Structure, Cancer, Cell Cycle|
|Restrictions||For Research Use only|
|The anti-VEGF4 Mab (Cat. #ABIN387760) is used in Western blot to detect VEGF4 in HDMEC cell lysate.|
