| Comments |
Background: The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the platelet-derived growth factor/vascular endothelial growth factor (PDGF/VEGF) family and is active in angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis, and endothelial cell growth. This secreted protein undergoes a complex proteolytic maturation, generating multiple processed forms which bind and activate VEGFR-2 and VEGFR-3 receptors. This protein is structurally and functionally similar to vascular endothelial growth factor C. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | ELISA~~1:1,000 Western blotting~~1:100~500 |
| Concentration | 0.25 mg/ml |
| Purification | Purified |
| Buffer | Purified monoclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS. |
| Storage | Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 deg C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 deg C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles |
| Research Area | Cell Signaling, Cell Structure, Cancer, Cell Cycle |
| Restrictions | For Research Use only |
Images
| The anti-VEGF4 Mab (Cat. #ABIN387760) is used in Western blot to detect VEGF4 in HDMEC cell lysate. |
