Immunogen This MMP11 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 398-426 AA from the C-terminal region of human MMP11.
Clone RB2023
Isotype Ig
Specificity This MMP11 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide selected from the C-terminal region of human MMP11.
Purification This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
Alternative Name MMP11
Background Proteins of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family are involved in the breakdown of extracellular matrix in normal physiological processes, such as embryonic development, reproduction, and tissue remodeling, as well as in disease processes, such as arthritis and metastasis. Most MMPs are secreted as inactive proproteins which are activated when cleaved by extracellular proteinases. MMP11 may play an important role in the progression of epithelial malignancies. It is specifically expressed in stromal cells of breast carcinomas.
