Additional Information

Alternative name BAIAP1 (MAGI1)
Gene ID 9223
UniProt NP_004733
Immunogen This BAIAP1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1234~1264 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human BAIAP1.
Isotype Ig
Characteristics Purified Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Pab)
Specificity This BAIAP1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1234~1264 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human BAIAP1.
Molecular Weight 136981 DA
Comments

Background: BAIAP1 is a member of the membrane-associated guanylate kinase homologue (MAGUK) family. Characterized by two WW domains, a guanylate kinase domain, and five PDZ domains, this protein interacts with the cytoplasmic region of BAI1. Together, these proteins may play a role in cell adhesion and signal transduction.

Application Details

Application Notes The suggested dilution is: ELISA~~1:1,000 Western blotting~~1:100~500 Immunohistochemistry~~1:50~100
Concentration 0.25 mg/ml
Purification Purified
Buffer Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
Storage Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 deg C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 deg C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles
Research Area Cell Signaling, Cell Structure
Restrictions For Research Use only
