This complex plays critical roles in DNA repair, cell cycle checkpoint control, and maintenance of genomic stability. ABRA1 mediates interaction of ubiquitin-interacting motif-containing protein RAP80 and deubiquitination enzyme BRCC36 with BRCA1/BARD1.
