Specificity: This antibody recognizes the 39 kDa Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor-Associated Protein (RAP) which is cosynthesized with Human LRP/α2MR (low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein/α2 macroglobulin receptor). No cross-reaction with Rabbit or Mouse RAP. Note: This Clone 7F1 is reported to inhibit the binding of ligands, e.g. tPA, uPA, VLDL, lipoprotein lipase, and α2 macro-globulin-proteinase complexes to LRP/α2MR.
