Description This antibody reacts with Cytokeratin 18 (45 kD) polypeptide and with a wide variety of simple epithelia. It does not react with stratified squamous epithelia. It reacts with epithelial tumors of the gastrointestinal tract, lung, breast, pancreas, ovary, and thyroid.

Application Notes Immunohistochemistry: (Paraffin/Frozen).
Staining Procedure: When using paraffin-embedded and formalin-fixed tissues, predigestion with AutoZyme or high temperature antigenic unmasking technique is strongly recommended for consistent and reproducible results. The optimal conditions should be determined by the individual laboratory. The antibody may be used at a dilution of 1:50 to 1:100 with AutoProbe III.
