  • Target

    DPYSL2 (Dihydropyrimidinase-Like 2 (DPYSL2))

    Alternative Name

    DPYSL2

    Background

DPYSL2 (Dihydropyrimidinase related protein-2) may have a role in axon elaboration and is involved in neuronal growth cone collapse. The protein is tightly, but noncovalently, associated with membranes. It is expressed immediately after neuronal birth and is dramatically down-regulated in the adult. DPYSL2 belongs to the dehydropyrimidinase family.
