Background
- Recognizes a triplet of membrane proteins of 74, 80 and 89 kDa. CD97 is strongly expressed on phytohemagglutinin (PHA)-activated T and B cells, virtually all monocytes and granulocytes, and several cell lines including HL-60, THP-1, and K562. It is weakly expressed onresting lymphocytes. VIM3b has been shown to be effective in western blot and immunoprecipitation. This antibody is routinely tested by flow cytometric analysis.
