Mouse (Murine) Phosphatase and Tensin Homolog (PTEN) interaction partners

  1. Data suggest that reactive oxygen species (ROS (show ROS1 Antibodies))-induced DNA damage results in hypomethylation of the PTEN promoter, upregulation of PTEN mRNA and protein, and a subsequent increase in apoptosis in irradiated lung tissue.

  2. Weight and metformin did not affect the severity of EH resulting from PTEN inactivation

  3. TNF-alpha (show TNF Antibodies) induces vascular insulin (show INS Antibodies) resistance by mechanisms that involve positive modulation of PTEN and inhibition of Akt (show AKT1 Antibodies)/eNOS (show NOS3 Antibodies)/NO signaling.

  4. In summary, our study illustrates the potential signal transduction process of PTEN while stimulated by LPS (show TLR4 Antibodies): by increasing the association of TLR4 (show TLR4 Antibodies), PTEN recruits to its phosphoinositide substrate PI(3,4,5)P3 located on the cell membrane and exerts its dephosphorylated function and subsequently depresses the activity of downstream molecule Akt (show AKT1 Antibodies) and results in activation of NF-kappaB (show NFKB1 Antibodies), followed by the secretion of inflamma...

  5. PTEN is required for stabilization of planar cell packing in the neural plate and for the formation of stable apical-basal microtubule arrays, while PDPK1 (show PDPK1 Antibodies) is required for stabilization of apical junctions during epithelial morphogenesis.

  6. Deletion of PTEN leads to phosphorylation of Serine 133 of Cyclic AMP Response Element-Binding protein, then increases the expression of microRNA-132.

  7. MiR-17-92 functions as a hepatocyte proliferation stimulator and acts in an estrogen-dependent manner. The loss of this miRNA results in increases in p21 (show D4S234E Antibodies) and Pten expression and therefore impairs liver regeneration in female mice.

  8. Analysis of 18 signalling signatures revealed that PI3K signalling is significantly induced whereas EGFR (show EGFR Antibodies) signalling is significantly reduced in Pten() versus PIK3CA (show PIK3CA Antibodies)(H1047R) tumors. Thus, Pten() and PIK3CA (show PIK3CA Antibodies)(H1047R) tumors exhibit discernable differences that may impact tumorigenesis and response to therapy.

  9. These results suggest that the social and anxiety-like phenotypes observed in CNS-specific Pten(-/-) mice may depend on neuronal Pten, as lack of Pten in Fsp1 (show S100A4 Antibodies)-expressing cells of the CNS had little effect on these behaviors.

  10. These findings demonstrate that melatonin attenuates cisplatin-induced follicle loss by preventing the phosphorylation of PTEN/AKT (show AKT1 Antibodies)/FOXO3a (show FOXO3 Antibodies) pathway members; thus, melatonin is a potential therapeutic agent for ovarian protection and fertility preservation during chemotherapy in female cancer patients.

Human Phosphatase and Tensin Homolog (PTEN) interaction partners

  1. Data suggest that microRNA-92b up-regulates cell proliferation/cell migration/tumor invasiveness and down-regulates apoptosis of glioma cells via PTEN/AKT (show AKT1 Antibodies) (phosphatase and tensin homolog protein/protein kinase b alpha (show AKT1 Antibodies)) signaling pathway.

  2. Inhibition of protooncogenic microRNA-181a may suppress proliferation and invasion and promote apoptosis of cervical cancer cells through the PTEN/Akt (show AKT1 Antibodies)/FOXO1 (show FOXO1 Antibodies) pathway.

  3. miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-106a promoted the growth and invasion of SKOV3 cells by targeting phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN). Furthermore, the present study revealed that IL-6 (show IL6 Antibodies) inhibited miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-106a expression by activating STAT3 (show STAT3 Antibodies). Tocilizumab, a humanized anti-human IL-6R antibody, that competitively inhibits IL-6 (show IL6 Antibodies)/IL-6R signaling, did not inhibit the proliferation and invasion of SKOV3 cells.

  4. miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-101 could bind 3'-UTR (show UTS2R Antibodies) of WT-PTEN with reduced fluorescent intensity, suggesting that PTEN was the target gene. SMMC-7721, HepG2 and Huh7 were eligible cell lines for miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-101 studies. miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-101 was an applicable molecular marker of HCC (show FAM126A Antibodies)

  5. Reduced PTEN expression may be an indicator for poor prognosis in patients with lung cancer. The presence of PTEN expression may define a subset of patients with lung cancer appropriate for investigational therapeutic strategies

  6. High expression of PTEN is associated with Adriamycin resistance in breast cancer.

  7. PTEN and PIK3CA (show PIK3CA Antibodies) were shown to be upregulated by 89 and 76% (western blot), respectively, in the pemetrexed-resistant cell line compared with control cells.

  8. Data suggest that reactive oxygen species (ROS (show ROS1 Antibodies))-induced DNA damage results in hypomethylation of the PTEN promoter, upregulation of PTEN mRNA and protein, and a subsequent increase in apoptosis in irradiated lung tissue.

  9. PTEN is a direct functional target of miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-130b. In hepatocellular carcinoma, miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-130b may promote proliferation and EMT (show ITK Antibodies)-induced metastasis via PTEN/p-AKT (show AKT1 Antibodies)/HIF-1alpha (show HIF1A Antibodies) signaling.

  10. These data demonstrated that PTEN upregulation could reduce invasion by inhibiting the process of EMT (show ITK Antibodies) in Tca8113 cells, which might be related to the Hedgehog (show SHH Antibodies) signaling pathway.

Pig (Porcine) Phosphatase and Tensin Homolog (PTEN) interaction partners

  1. PTEN, FOXO3A (show FOXO3 Antibodies) and PKB (show AKT1 Antibodies) were expressed in a stage- and cell-specific manner during ovarian follicle formation and development in the fetal and neonatal pig.

Cow (Bovine) Phosphatase and Tensin Homolog (PTEN) interaction partners

  1. miR (show MYLIP Antibodies)-26b participates in the inflammatory response of LPS (show IRF6 Antibodies)-stimulated bAMs by modulating the NF-kappaB (show NFKB1 Antibodies) pathway through targeting PTEN.

  2. Pten expression levels in the mammary glands of dairy cows, was investigated.

  3. These studies identify a key role for PTEN in the modulation of lipid mediators involved in adenosine diphosphate receptor-regulated endothelial signaling pathways involving eNOS (show NOS3 Antibodies) activation in vascular endothelial cells.

  4. Overexpressing PTEN enhanced fatty acid oxidation and assembly and secretion of VLDL in cultured hepatocytes.

  5. Inhibition of PTEN activity had no effect on cyclic strain-mediated cell proliferation but inhibited cyclic strain-mediated suppression of apoptosis

Xenopus laevis Phosphatase and Tensin Homolog (PTEN) interaction partners

  1. PTEN plays an important role in multicilia formation and cilia disassembly by controlling the phosphorylation of Dishevelled (show DVL2 Antibodies).

  2. PTEN negatively regulates growth cone phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate levels and mediates chemorepulsion, whereas chemoattraction is PTEN-independent.

  3. PTEN-dependent slowing of axonal growth enables the establishment of stable nerve-muscle contacts that develop into neuromuscular junctions.

PTEN Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene was identified as a tumor suppressor that is mutated in a large number of cancers at high frequency. The protein encoded this gene is a phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate 3-phosphatase. It contains a tensin like domain as well as a catalytic domain similar to that of the dual specificity protein tyrosine phosphatases. Unlike most of the protein tyrosine phosphatases, this protein preferentially dephosphorylates phosphoinositide substrates. It negatively regulates intracellular levels of phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate in cells and functions as a tumor suppressor by negatively regulating AKT\\/PKB signaling pathway.
