|Alternative Name||ELK1 (ELK1 Antibody Abstract)|
Elk-1 is a transcription factor that is part of the ets oncogene superfamily (1). Elk-1forms a ternary complex with the serum response factors, SRE and SRF, mediatinggene activity in response to serum and growth factors (2). Activation by severalmitogen-activated protein kinases (Erk1 and Erk2) mediates the immediate earlyresponses of the c-fos promoter to growth factors and other stimuli (3,4). Serines 383and 389 in the C-terminal region are the preferred sites for phosphorylation-inducedactivation. Alternate Names: anti-ELK 1 antibody, anti-ELK1 member of ETS oncogene family antibody, anti-ELK1protein antibody, anti-ELK2 member of ETS oncogene family antibody, anti-ETS domaincontaining protein Elk 1 antibody, anti-ETS domain containing protein Elk1 antibody,anti-ETS domain protein Elk1 antibody, anti-Oncogene Elk1 antibody.

|Buffer||PBS 49 % , Glycerol 50 % , BSA 0.05 % , Sodium Azide|
|Precaution of Use||WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.|
|Handling Advice||Avoid freeze-thaw cycles|
