Background
- Forskolin resensitizes cell receptors by activating adenyl cyclase, and increasing the intracellular levels of cAMP. Medically forskolin provides a route to inhibition of colon cancer cell growth and survival. It is also a vasodilator, may be helpful in controlling the cause of glaucoma, reduces urinary tract infections, and may help to increase the skin’s natural resistance to burning under UV light.
