Background
- CD1a is a trans membrane glycoprotein of 49 kD which is noncovalently associated with beta-microglobulin. The antigen is strongly expressed on cortical thymocytes and dendritic cells and disappear at later stages of maturation.Synonyms: T-cell surface antigen T6/Leu-6, T-cell surface glycoprotein CD1a, T6/Leu-6, hTa1, hTa1 thymocyte antigen
