  • Specificity

    This antibody recognises Murine G-CSF.

    Purification

    Affinity chromatography.

    Immunogen

    Highly pure (>98%) recombinant mG-CSF
  • Application Notes

Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of mG-CSF (0.5 ng/mL),a concentration of 0.005-0.010 μg/mL of this antibody is required. ELISA: (Indirect): To detect mG-CSF by indirect ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.5-2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purifiedantibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of atleast 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant mG-CSF. (Sandwich): To detect mG-CSF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.5-2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purifiedantibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Murine G-CSF (PP022B) as a detectionantibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant mG-CSF. Western Blot: To detect mG-CSF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limitfor recombinant mG-CSF is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducingconditions.
    Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

  • Target

    G-CSF (CSF3) (Colony Stimulating Factor 3 (Granulocyte) (CSF3))

    Alternative Name

    G-CSF

    Background

Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor (G-CSF) a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes. It is a potent stimulator of bone marrow cells especially those of neutrophil lineage. In addition, G-CSF can enhance the survival and activate the immunological functions of mature neutrophils.Synonyms: C17orf33, CSF3, Colony stimulating factor 3, GCSF, Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor, Pluripoietin
