The Goat Polyclonal anti-Invertase antibody (ABIN117966) specifically detects Invertase in WB, EIA and IP.
The antibody is reactive with Candida sp. samples.
Quick Overview for Invertase antibody (ABIN117966)
Target
Invertase
Reactivity
Candida sp.
Host
Goat
Clonality
Polyclonal
Conjugate
This Invertase antibody is un-conjugated
Application
Western Blotting (WB), Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP)
Specificity
This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against purified and partially purified Invertase [Candida]. Cross reactivity against Invertase from other sources is unknown.
Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoprecipitation and mostimmunological methods requiring high titer and specificity. This product has been assayedagainst 1.0 μg of Invertase [Candida] in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidaseconjugated Affinity Purified anti-Goat IgG [H&L] (Goat) and (ABTS(2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes atroom temperature. A working dilution of 1: 10,000 to 1: 65,000 of the reconstitutionconcentration is suggested for this product. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Storage Comment
Store vial at 2-8 °C prior to restoration. Restore with 1.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). For extended storage add glycerol to 50% and then aliquot contents and freeze at -20 °C or below. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This antibody is stable for one month at 2-8 °C as an undiluted liquid.
Target
Invertase
Background
Invertase hydrolyses the terminal non reducing beta D fructofuranoside residues in beta D fructofuranosides. It is the enzyme that bees use to convert nectar into honey. Industrial and confectionary applications use yeast invertase to split sucrose into fructose and glucose and also to improve the shelf life of food products.Synonyms: Beta-fructofuranosidase, INV1, Saccharase
