Specificity: This antibody recognises the CD38 cell surface antigen.

Immunogen: Mouse pre-B cells derived from IL-7 dependent bone marrow cultures. Lymph node cells from an immunised rat were fused with cells of the mouse P3X63Ag.8.653 myeloma cell line.

Application Details

Application Notes: Flow cytometry: neat- 1/10, use 10 μL of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 μL, The Fc region of monoclonal antibodies may bind non-specifically to cells expressing low affinity fc receptors.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Background: CD38 is a 42-46kD glycoprotein expressed by B lymphocytes, a proportion of peripheral T lymphocytes and by peritoneal macrophages.
