The Mouse Monoclonal anti-CD55 antibody (Clone BRIC216) (ABIN118797) specifically detects CD55 in WB, FACS and IP.
The antibody is reactive with Human samples.
Flow Cytometry. Immunoprecipitation. Has been described for previous lots to work in Western blotting under non-reducing conditions. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

CD55 antigen is a 70 kD glycoprotein distributed on erythrocytes and other circulating blood cells and also on cells in non-haemopoietic tissue particularly epithelium and endothelium. Found specifically at the foetal-maternal interfaces in placenta. CD55 has reduced expression on individuals with paroxysmal noctural haemoglobinuria.Synonyms: Complement decay-accelerating factor
