- Chickens were immunized with recombinant protein A . Antibodies were isolated from immune eggs, affinity purified on a protein A column and conjugated to N- hydroxysuccinimide (NHS)-activated agarose beads. Beads were washed extensively with after the blocking of the residual NHS sites.
