Quick Overview for TP53INP1 antibody (N-Term) (ABIN155075)
The antibody detects the 27 kDa p53DINP1-alpha. A lower band (~18 kDa) which represents the p53DINP1-beta was also detected in certain tissue and cells.
Purification
Affinity Chromatography.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide mapping to the N-terminus of Human p53DINP1.
Western Blot: 0.5-4.0 μg/mL. Immunohistochemistry: 5-10 μg/mL. Human Lung tissue lysate can be used as a Positive Control. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Background
P53DINP1 (p53-dependent damage-inducible nuclear protein 1) encodes two proteins termed p53DINP1-alpha (27 kDa) and p53DINP1-beta (18 kDa). p53DINP1 may regulate p53-dependent apoptosis through phosphorylation at Ser46 and induction of p53AIP1. p53DINP1 is expressed in many tissues and induced by a variety of stress agents including UV stress, mutagenic stress, heat shock, and oxidative stress.Synonyms: P53DINP1, SIP, Stress-induced protein, Tumor protein p53-inducible nuclear protein 1, p53-dependent damage-inducible nuclear protein 1, p53-inducible nuclear protein 1
