- Monoclonal antibody WM53 reacts with CD33, a 67 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein (immunoglobulin superfamily) expressed on myeloid progenitors, monocytes, granulocytes, dendritic cells and mast cells, it is absent on platelets, lymphocytes, erythrocytes and hematopoietic stem cells.
