Binding Specificity: pSer957

Specificity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site. SMC1 (phospho-Ser957) antibody detects endogenous levels of SMC1 only when phosphorylated at serine 957.

Purification: Immunoaffinity chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide.

Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human SMC1 around the phosphorylation site of serine 957 (G-S-Sp-Q-G).

Application Details

Application Notes: Suitable for use in Suitable for use in Western blot (1: 500-1: 1000) andImmunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded sections (1: 50-1: 100).
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
