Application
-
-
Specificity
- Recognizes the C-chain of complement C1q (25kD in SDS-PAGE). Useful for detection of C1q-bearing immune complexes in patients with rheumatic disorders. Detects C1q in serum, in serum-C1 and within immune complexes.

Application Notes
-
Approved: ELISA, Func, WB (1:100)
Usage: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Inhibition experiments (e. g. hemolytic activity). Western Blot: 1:100 (ECL method), Incubation Time 1hr at RT. Inhibition of hemolytic activity: 0.85 μg/mL inhibits 50 % of hemolytic activity in the fluid phase. With C1 bound to immune complexes a dose dependent increase of C1 activity was observed at antibody concentrations of 1.5 μg/mL. -
