Application Notes
-
Approved: ELISA (0.5 - 1 μg/mL), Func, Neut
Usage: Suitable for use in direct ELISA and Neutralization. Neutralization (ND50): ~2-10 μg/mL in the presence of 3 μg/mL of rmGDF-5, using the ATDC5 cell line. Note: The exact concentration of antibody required to neutralize rmGDF-5 activity is dependent on the cytokine concentration, cell type, growth conditions and the type of activity studied. The Neutralization Dose50 (ND50) for this antibody is defined as that concentration of antibody required to yield one-half maximal inhibition of the cytokine activity on a responsive cell line, when that cytokine is present at a concentration just high enough to elicit a maximum response. Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0 μg/mL. The detection limit is ~10 ng/well. -
