Usage: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Western Blot: Using rat brain extracts of cortex, hypothalamus, midbrain and hindbrain, the antibody specifically labels a single band. Immunolabeling is abolished by pre-adsorption with synthetic rat 5HT transporter (aa579-599). Immunohistochemistry (indirect IF): 1:200-1:400. Immunohistochemistry (biotin/streptavidin HRP technique): 1:4000-1:8000 in rat raphe nuclei, hypothalamus, cortex and spinal cord.
