  • Binding Specificity

    Internal Region

    Specificity

This antibody is expected to equally recognize DEFA1 precursor and DEFA3 precursor.

    Purification

DEFA1/3 antibody was purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.

    Immunogen

DEFA1/3 antibody was raised against a 14 amino acid synthetic peptide near the internal region of DEFA1/3.
  • Application Notes

ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1:128000 Western Blot: Approximately 10 kDa band observed in human spleen lysates (calculated MW of 10.2 kDa according to NP_004075.1). Recommended concentration: 1-3 μg/mL. an additional band of unknown identity was also consistently observed at 20 kDa . This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded thymus shows staining of selected cells. Recommended concentration, 4-6 μg/mL.
