    Handling Advice

As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.

    Storage

    4 °C/-20 °C

    Storage Comment

UPP1 antibody can be stored at 4 °C for short term (weeks). Long term storage should be at -20 °C.
  • Target

    UPP1 (Uridine Phosphorylase 1 (UPP1))

    Alternative Name

    UPP1

    Background

UPP1 catalyzes the reversible phosphorylytic cleavage of uridine and deoxyuridine to uracil and ribose- or deoxyribose-1-phosphate. The produced molecules are then utilized as carbon and energy sources or in the rescue of pyrimidine bases for nucleotide synthesis. It is involved in the pathway of nucleotide and deoxyribonucleotide catabolism.
