Approved: ELISA, Flo (0.5 - 1 μg/10 x106), IF (0.5 - 1 μg/mL), IHC, IHC-P (0.5 - 1 μg/mL), IP, WB (0.5 - 1 μg/mL)
Usage: This antibody recognizes an oncofetal glycoprotein with a single chain of 70 kDa, which is identified as Alpha fetoprotein (AFP). The AFP antibody is highly specific and shows no cross-reaction with other oncofetal antigens or serum albumin. Alpha fetoprotein is normally synthesized in the liver, intestinal tract, and yolk sac of the fetus. AFP antibody has been shown to be useful in detecting hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC) and germ cell neoplasms, especially yolk sac tumors. ELISA: Order BSA-free antibody format for coating. -
