    Handling Advice

    Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Use of Sodium Azide will inhibit enzyme activity of horseradish peroxidase.
Product will become viscous but will not freeze. Avoid storage in frost-free freezers. Allow product to warm to room temperature and gently mix before use.
Dilute only prior to immediate use.

    Storage

    -20 °C

    Storage Comment

    Store at -10 to -20 °C.
  • Target

Factor VIII (F8) (Coagulation Factor VIII (F8))

    Alternative Name

    Factor VIII

    Background

Factor VIII is a large glycoprotein (320 kDa) that circulates in plasma at approximately 200 ng/ml. The Factor VIII gene produces two alternatively spliced transcripts. Transcript variant 2 encodes a putative small protein, isoform b, which consists primarily of the phospholipid binding domain of factor VIIIc which is essential for coagulant activity.
