    Recognizes Streptococcus Group A. No immunological cross-reactivity with other Streptococcus Groups. There is potential non-specific cross-reactivity with other organisms such as Streptococcus Group C and Staphylococcus due to the presence of Protein A like proteins (Staphylococcus) and Protein C (Streptococcus C) present on the intact surface of these bacteria. These proteins bind any immunoglobulin.

    Usage: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunocytochemistry and IFA. Functions as both capture and detection antibody. ELISA: 1:200-1:1000. Immunocytochemistry, Direct FA: 1:20-1:200. Acetone fixation of the antigen source is recommended prior to staining. Pre block slide with 10 % normal goat serum.
