Specificity
- Recognizes TSG101 protein, the product of a recently identified tumor susceptibility gene. Inactivation of this gene in a mouse fibroblast system results in cell transformation and permits those cells to form tumors in nude mice. The TSG101 gene encodes a 46 kD protein containing a proline-rich domain and a leucine-zipper motif within a coiled-coil domain near the C-terminus.
