Specificity
- Recognizes Tn antigen on glycophorin A and glycophorin B in human erythrocytes. Tn is a cryptantigen which was recently designated CD175 at the 7th Leucocyte Typing Workshop. Tn antigen is not expressed on normal hemopoietic cells but exposure of the Tn is associated with polyagglutination.
