Background
- ENDOGL1 is an endo/exonuclease with 5'-3' exonuclease activity. The enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of ester linkages at the 5' end of a nucleic acid chain. This enzyme is localized to the mitochondria and may play a role in programmed cell death.Synonyms: 2-phospho-D-glycerate hydro-lyase, C-myc promoter-binding protein, ENO1L1 Non-neural enolase, Enolase 1, MBP-1, MBPB1, MPB-1, MPB1, NNE, Phosphopyruvate hydratase, Plasminogen-binding protein
